Hi π I'm Arthur!
Vienna-born π¦πΉ web developer with 9+ years in Drupal and a curiosity that rarely stays in one stack π§ͺ
Always cooking up ideas, side projects and small tools β give me a problem and I'll have three approaches before lunch π
I work best in teams that learn from each other β sharing knowledge, mentoring colleagues and quietly pushing the workflow forward π€
Back in Vienna π¦πΉ, back at drunomics β building decoupled Drupal applications with Lupus Decoupled Drupal and Nuxt on enterprise scale. I was responsible for the migration of Volkswagen's Infoportal from its predecessor systems, and on mossbo I drove the brand identity and contributed to product and roadmap decisions. I push for better workflows across the team and naturally mentor junior colleagues.
Backend developer at a warm-hearted Drupal agency rooted in the open source community. I shipped backend work for projects like the World Organization of the Scout Movement and UTBW, and authored a module to detect duplicate images in the media library. On the side I explored modern frontends with web components and supported junior colleagues in growing their skillsets.
Main backend developer for the German Heart Foundation at IBM iX's Berlin π©πͺ agency. Working on a high-traffic NGO platform is where I started specializing in Drupal backend development β custom modules, content modeling and integrations on a large enterprise project.
My start at drunomics in Vienna π¦πΉ, a Drupal agency specialized on publishers. I grew quickly into frontend, backend and DevOps work and was given the opportunity to take responsibility as tech lead on several projects. The supportive senior team and the Drupal open source ecosystem shaped how I work to this day.
A Drupal module that ships an opinionated podcast setup out of the box: content types, fields, views and an iTunes-compatible RSS feed, ready on install. An optional analytics submodule adds server-side download tracking by intercepting episode requests.
A showcase for Podcast Publisher: the website of three historians sharing anecdotes about Austria's former royal family. I built it on Lupus Decoupled Drupal with a Nuxt frontend, so the same Drupal backend powers both the podcast feed and the public site.
A 3-semester academic program covering mobile and web development alongside project management and IT business fundamentals. This is where I picked up the foundations that carried me into my first developer roles.
Three years of higher mathematics sharpened the abstract and logical thinking I rely on every day as a developer. I left the program before completing it once I realized I wanted to build practical things rather than prove them.
